    Car

    If you are driving from Vik, take Route 1 (Ring Road) heading north. After approximately 40 km, take the exit onto Route 38 towards Selfoss. Continue on Route 38 for about 22 km until you reach Route 1 again. Turn left onto Route 1 and drive for about 40 km. Look for the signs for Selatangar on the right; the site is located approximately 1 km off the main road. Follow the gravel road until you reach the parking area.

    From Reykjavik, take Route 1 (Ring Road) south towards Selfoss. Continue on Route 1 for about 60 km, then take the exit for Route 38 towards Þingvellir. Follow Route 38 for about 30 km, then merge back onto Route 1. After about 40 km, keep an eye out for the signs for Selatangar on your right. Follow the gravel road to the parking area.

    Public Transportation

    Take the bus from Reykjavik to Vik, which runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Vik, transfer to a local bus heading towards Selfoss. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for Selatangar. From there, you may need to walk about 1 km to reach the site.
