If you are driving, start from the town of Selfoss in Southern Region. Take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading west. Continue on Route 1 for about 50 kilometers until you reach the town of Hveragerði. Here, take Route 35 toward Þingvellir National Park. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn left onto Bakkavegur. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Giantess Cave, which is located at coordinates 64.0089959, -22.5543773. There is parking available at the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Giantess Cave using public transportation, take a bus from Reykjavik to Selfoss. The bus departs regularly and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Selfoss, you will need to take a taxi or arrange a shuttle to take you to Giantess Cave, as there is no direct public transport service to the cave. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and will cost around 10,000 ISK. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time and plan your return trip accordingly.

From the nearest bus stop on Bakkavegur, it's about a 30-minute walk (2.5 kilometers) to the cave. Follow Bakkavegur north until you see the signs leading to the cave entrance.
