Look for a small gravel road on your right that leads towards Hlauptungufoss. The waterfall is located at coordinates 64.2534, -20.5166. Park your car in the designated area and follow the short hiking trail to the waterfall. Ensure you have a map or GPS device, as the gravel roads can be less clearly marked.
