Car

If you are driving, head towards the town of Hella on Route 1 (the Ring Road). From Hella, take Route 35 towards Þingvellir National Park. Continue on Route 35 until you reach the intersection with Route 36. Turn right onto Route 36 and drive for about 30 km until you see the signs for Stóridalur. Follow the signs to Nauthúsafoss, which is located about 2 km off Route 36. There is a parking area where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Reykjavik to Hella, which is operated by Strætó. Once in Hella, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for a shuttle service to get to Nauthúsafoss, as public transportation does not go directly to the waterfall. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, and confirm the availability of taxis or shuttle services.
Walking
