If you are driving in Thorsmork, start by heading towards the main road leading to the Vestmannaeyjar ferry terminal. You will need to exit Thorsmork and travel towards the town of Hvolsvöllur. Once you reach Hvolsvöllur, follow signs for the ferry to Vestmannaeyjar. The ferry will take you to the island, and from the ferry terminal in Vestmannaeyjar, drive towards Gerðisbraut. Eldheimar is located at Gerðisbraut 10, 900 Vestmannaeyjabær. Look for parking near the museum.

To reach Eldheimar using public transportation, first take a bus from Thorsmork to Hvolsvöllur.
