    If you are driving from Thorsmork, head southwest on Þórsmörk road towards the main road (Route 1). Follow Route 1 until you reach the ferry terminal at Þorlákshöfn (approximately 2.5 hours of driving). Here, you will need to take a ferry to the Westman Islands (Vestmannaeyjar). The ferry ride takes about 35 minutes and costs around 2,500 ISK per person. Once you arrive at the Westman Islands, follow the signs to the town of Vestmannaeyjabær. Eldheimar is located at Gerðisbraut 10, 900 Vestmannaeyjabær. You can park nearby and walk to the museum.
