Once you reach Route 1, turn left (north) and walk along the road. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers (about 2 hours walk). You'll pass by beautiful landscapes, including fields and distant views of mountains. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating 'Sólheimajökull' on your right.
