Walking

From the center of Vík, head south on Víkurbraut street towards the main road (Route 1). Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Suðurvíkurvegur. Turn left onto Suðurvíkurvegur. Follow this road for about 800 meters. You will see Vík HI Hostel on your right at Suðurvíkurvegur 5.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the community center in Vík. Ride south on Víkurbraut until you hit Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and cycle about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Suðurvíkurvegur. Turn left again onto Suðurvíkurvegur and continue for 800 meters. Vík HI Hostel will be on your right at Suðurvíkurvegur 5.

Public Transport

Check the local bus schedule for routes that serve Vík. If a bus stops at Vík, take it to the Vík stop. From there, walk south on Víkurbraut towards Route 1.
