Walking

From the center of Stykkisholmur, head southwest on Borgarbraut towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the ferry terminal. Take a left onto that road and walk towards the terminal. You will see signs indicating the direction to Bjarnafoss. Follow the signs and continue walking along the coastal path for about 10 kilometers until you reach Bjarnafoss waterfall. It is a beautiful walk with scenic views.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Stykkisholmur. Start at the town square and head southwest on Borgarbraut. Follow the road as it curves toward the ferry terminal. Once you see the signs for Bjarnafoss, take the coastal route. The ride is approximately 10 kilometers along a scenic path that leads directly to the waterfall.
