If you are driving from Ísafjörður, head northwest on Route 61. After approximately 5 km, take the exit towards Route 63. Continue on Route 63 for about 20 km. You will then reach the area near Bunárfoss. Look for the small road that leads towards the waterfall. Park your car at the designated parking area, and follow the walking path towards the waterfall, which is about a 10-minute walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Bunárfoss using public transport, start by taking a bus from Ísafjörður to the nearby town of Súðavík. The bus ride typically takes around 30 minutes. Once in Súðavík, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare to take you to the waterfall. The taxi ride should take about 15 minutes.
