Starting from the center of Ísafjörður, head northeast on Aðalstræti street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Hlíðarvegur. Turn left onto Hlíðarvegur. Follow this road until you reach a fork; take the right path which leads to Flóðvarnarveggur. You will see signage directing you towards the attraction. The walk will take approximately 20 minutes and is around 1.5 kilometers.
Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from local shops in Ísafjörður. Start at the town center and head northeast on Aðalstræti. Take a left onto Hlíðarvegur and continue straight. When you reach the fork, take the right path towards Flóðvarnarveggur. The bike ride should take about 10 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 1.5 kilometers. Be cautious of pedestrians and follow local biking rules.
