Car
If you are driving from Ísafjörður, take Route 61 heading west. After about 33 kilometers, turn onto Route 63 at the junction towards Flateyri. Continue on Route 63 for approximately 17 kilometers. As you enter Flateyri, look for Hafnarstræti street. Gamla Bókabúðin is located at Hafnarstræti 3-5, which you will find on your right. Parking may be available on the street.

To reach Flateyri by public transport, take a bus from Ísafjörður. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the Flateyri stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 500 meters) to Gamla Bókabúðin, which is located at Hafnarstræti 3-5. Follow Hafnarstræti street towards the town center, and you will find the bookstore on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
