If you are driving from Ísafjörður, take Route 61 heading southwest. After approximately 40 km, you will turn onto Route 63 towards Önundarfjörður. Continue on this road for about 30 km, enjoying the scenic views of the fjord. Once you reach Holt, look for an Unnamed Road that leads to Önundarfjörður Pier. The pier is located at coordinates 66.0168839 latitude and -23.4478393 longitude. Parking is available near the pier.
Public Transportation
To reach Önundarfjörður Pier using public transport, take a bus from Ísafjörður to the nearby town of Bíldudalur. From Bíldudalur, you may need to arrange for a taxi or check for local shuttle services that can take you to Holt. Ensure you check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Holt, the pier is a short walk from the main road.
