Car
If you are traveling by car, make your way towards Sauðlauksdalur. From Ísafjörður, take Route 61 heading south. After about 17 km, turn onto Route 63. Follow this road for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of Þingeyri. Continue west on Route 63 for about 18 km. Then, turn onto the gravel road at G587, which will lead you directly to Garðar BA 64. The landmark is located at G587+P73, 451 Sauðlauksdalur, and you will find it on your left side a short distance after the road turns into a slight incline. Be cautious on the gravel road as it may be uneven.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, check for bus services operating in the Westfjords region. The closest bus stop would likely be in Þingeyri. From Ísafjörður, take the bus to Þingeyri, which may require a transfer depending on the schedule. Once in Þingeyri, you will need to arrange a local taxi to take you to Garðar BA 64, as public transportation does not run directly to this landmark. The taxi ride from Þingeyri to Garðar BA 64 should take about 15 minutes and cost approximately ISK 5,000-7,000.
