If you are traveling by car, start from Ísafjörður, the main town in the Westfjords. Take Route 61 south towards the town of Þingeyri. Continue on Route 61 to the junction with Route 60 and turn left onto Route 60. Follow Route 60 until you reach the junction with Route 63. Turn right onto Route 63 towards Flókalundur. After a short drive, you will see signs for Hellulaug. The exact location is HRGR+V66, 451 Flókalundur. There is no entrance fee to access the natural hot spring.
