If you are driving, take Route 60 north from Ísafjörður, which is the main town in the Westfjords. Continue on Route 60 until you reach the junction with Route 61. Turn left onto Route 61 and drive towards Súðavík. After passing through Súðavík, follow the signs towards Ketildalsvegur. The drive will take approximately 30-40 minutes from Ísafjörður. Once on Ketildalsvegur, continue driving until you reach Hringsdalur, which is located at Ketildalsvegur, 466. Be aware that some parts of the roads may be gravel, so drive carefully.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the bus from Ísafjörður to Súðavík. The bus service is operated by Strætó and typically runs several times a day. Once you arrive in Súðavík, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you to Hringsdalur, as there are no direct public transport options to this location. The taxi ride from Súðavík to Hringsdalur will take about 15-20 minutes and will cost approximately 5,000 ISK.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like to cycle, you can ride from Ísafjörður to Hringsdalur. Take Route 60 north from Ísafjörður, then Route 61 towards Súðavík. The total distance is roughly 22 kilometers, and it can take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed and road conditions. Please ensure you have appropriate gear, as some sections are on gravel roads.
