Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Ísafjörður. Head south on Route 61 towards Suðureyri. Continue on Route 61 until you reach the junction with Route 60. Take Route 60 west toward Þingeyri. After about 30 km, turn onto Route 63 towards Flateyri. Follow Route 63 until you reach Djúpvegur. The lighthouse is located on the Djúpvegur road; look for signs directing you to Óshólar Lighthouse. The trip will take approximately 1.5 hours depending on road conditions.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Ísafjörður to Þingeyri. The bus service operates several times a day. Once you arrive in Þingeyri, you will need to arrange for a taxi to take you to Óshólar Lighthouse. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes and may cost around 5,000 ISK. Walking
