Car
If you are driving, the Pollurinn hot springs are located approximately 6 kilometers from Tálknafjörður. From Tálknafjörður, head south on Route 61. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto a dirt road (keep an eye out for signs indicating Pollurinn). Follow this road for about 4.5 kilometers until you reach the hot springs. Parking is available nearby.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Tálknafjörður from Ísafjörður or other towns in Westfjords. Once you arrive at Tálknafjörður, you can either walk (approximately 6 kilometers) to Pollurinn hot springs or check for local taxi services that can take you directly to the springs. The walk involves heading south on Route 61, and then taking a left onto the dirt road leading to the hot springs.

From Tálknafjörður, if you choose to walk to Pollurinn hot springs, take Route 61 south out of the town for about 1.5 kilometers. Then, turn left onto the dirt road that leads to the hot springs. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk the roughly 6 kilometers, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for some uneven terrain.
