If you're in Ísafjörður, head south on Route 60 towards Þingeyri. After about 45 km, turn left onto Route 61 towards Suðureyri. Continue on Route 61 for another 15 km until you reach the junction with Route 63. Turn left onto Route 63 and drive for approximately 30 km. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Route 60 again, heading towards Sauðlauksdalur. After about 20 km, keep an eye out for the sign for Skápadalur. You will find the site at 'G587+M7P, 451 Sauðlauksdalur'.
