After about 15 kilometers, turn onto Route 63 heading toward Flateyri. Continue on Route 63 until you reach the junction with Route 60. Turn right onto Route 60 and follow the signs for Dynjandisheiði. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will see the signs for Ingólfsfjörður. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on weather and road conditions. Be aware that some roads may be gravel, so drive carefully.

  • Public Transportation

    For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Ísafjörður to Þingeyri. Buses are operated by Strætó, but check the current schedule online as it may vary by season.
