Vestmannaeyjar, Puffins & Volcanoes Small Group Day Tour
Vestmannaeyjar island, don’t miss it
Vestmannaeyjar Island, Puffins and Volcano hike was one of the best I’ve had in a while. The tour guide (Franklin), was excellent. Franklin is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. Franklin, himself was a big part of why the tour went so well. The Puffins was one of the best I’ve seen on land. At the location of the Puffins, wherever you looked, there were puffins. To learn of the volcano eruption in 1973 on the island, and what happened to the people at that time was very interesting. This made the hike up the volcano more interesting as you made it to the top and looked around, imagining what it must have been like. It’s an all day tour, but if you have time it’s worth it. Remember to ask for Franklin, for the tour guide.

Great way to see the puffins of Westman Islands if staying in Reykjavik
Overall, this tour was great. Our guide Maria was especially excellent—she told us about the history, the nature, and had some good jokes to keep us ent while driving.
