Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from downtown Coeur d'Alene, head east on Sherman Avenue towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and follow it as it curves slightly to the right. Continue walking until 3rd Street intersects with Lake Avenue. At this intersection, turn left onto Lake Avenue and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. You will see a path on the right that leads to the park area. Walk through the park, and you will eventually see Fort Sherman Chapel located at 332 Hubbard St, slightly elevated on your left.

• Biking

  Starting from the Coeur d'Alene Resort, head north on the bike path that runs parallel to the Spokane River. Continue on this path until you reach the intersection with Hubbard Street. Turn left onto Hubbard Street, and follow it until you arrive at Fort Sherman Chapel located at 332 Hubbard St. You can lock your bike at the designated bike racks near the chapel.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  From the nearest bus stop in downtown Coeur d'Alene, board the local bus that runs towards the north side of the city. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to 3rd Street and Sherman Avenue. Once you get off, walk east on Sherman Avenue until you reach 3rd Street. From there, turn left onto 3rd Street. Follow it until you reach Lake Avenue, and turn left. Continue walking until you reach the park area, where Fort Sherman Chapel is located at 332 Hubbard St.
