Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Idaho Falls, you can take the public bus operated by the East Idaho Transit Authority. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards Rexburg at the Idaho Falls Transit Center. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Rexburg stop closest to Yellowstone Bear World, which is located at 6010 S 4300 W. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of Yellowstone Bear World.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle in Idaho Falls. Start at the Idaho Falls Greenbelt and head north towards E 17th St. Follow E 17th St until it merges into US-20 E. Continue on US-20 E for about 14 miles, following the signs to Rexburg. Once you reach Rexburg, take exit 337 for 1st St/US-20 E. Continue on 1st St until you reach S 4300 W. Turn left onto S 4300 W and follow it until you reach Yellowstone Bear World.

  • Walking

    Although it is a long walk, if you are adventurous, you can walk from Idaho Falls to Yellowstone Bear World. Begin at the Idaho Falls Greenbelt along the Snake River and follow the path to E 17th St. Continue to E 1st St and then merge onto US-20 E. This route is approximately 14 miles long and will take you through beautiful Idaho scenery. Once you reach Rexburg, follow the directions for the nearest exit that leads to Yellowstone Bear World, located at 6010 S 4300 W.
