Public Transportation
Start at the Idaho Falls Public Transportation center located at 1000 S Capital Ave. From there, take the Route 1 bus heading towards 'Hitt Rd & 17th St.'. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Hitt Rd & 17th St.' Next, transfer to the Route 5 bus heading towards 'Arco.' This bus will take you closer to Hells Half Acre. After about 40 minutes, get off at the 'Hells Half Acre' stop, which is near the entrance to the area.

From downtown Idaho Falls, start at the intersection of E Broadway St and S Capital Ave. Head south on S Capital Ave, then turn left onto E 5th St. Continue on E 5th St until you reach S 25th E. Turn right and head south until you reach W Arco Hwy. Follow W Arco Hwy west for about 10 miles. Hells Half Acre will be on your left. The ride is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, so be sure to bring water and wear a helmet.
