From Owyhee, head northeast on the local roads towards Boise. You will want to get onto Idaho State Highway 51 N. Follow this highway until you arrive at the junction with I-84 E. Merge onto I-84 E and continue for around 40 miles. Take exit 50 for Broadway Ave toward Boise. Continue on Broadway Ave, which will eventually become Boise River Greenbelt. Follow this road until you reach the Boise River Dam, located at Boise River Greenbelt, Boise, ID 83716. There is no parking fee, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

To reach the Boise River Dam via public transportation, you can first take a local bus from Owyhee to Boise. Check the local transit schedule for the most current routes and times. Once you arrive in Boise, transfer to the Boise Public Transit system. Take the bus towards downtown Boise and disembark at the nearest stop to the Boise River Greenbelt.
