If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Wallace, Idaho. Head east on 5th Street towards Cedar Street, then take a left onto Cedar Street. Continue on Cedar Street which will take you to the Wallace to Mullan Road (US-10 E). After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Placer Creek Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the trailhead parking area for the Placer Creek Trail. There, you will find signs directing you to the Edward Pulaski Tunnel, which is about a 2-mile hike from the parking area.

If you prefer public transportation, your best option is to take the local bus service from Wallace to Mullan. From the Wallace Transit Center, catch the bus heading towards Mullan. Once you arrive in Mullan, you will need to use a ride-sharing service or arrange for a taxi to get to the Placer Creek Trailhead. The trailhead is about 10 miles from Mullan. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited.
