If you're already inside Ponderosa State Park, follow the park's main road until you reach the intersection near the park's visitor center. Take a left turn onto the road leading towards the Huckleberry Loop Trail. Continue to follow the signs for Huckleberry Loop Trail. After approximately 1 mile, you will see a parking area designated for Huckleberry Loop Trail on your right. Park your vehicle in this area, and the trailhead will be easily accessible from the parking lot.
Walking
If you are staying in a cabin or campsite within Ponderosa State Park, you can walk to the Huckleberry Loop Trail. From the main campground area, follow the walking paths that lead towards the trailhead. Look for signs directing you to Huckleberry Loop Trail. The trailhead is approximately a 20-minute walk from the main campground, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the surrounding scenery along the way.
