Bus
From Sandpoint, head to the Sandpoint Transit Center located at 105 S 1st Ave, Sandpoint, ID 83864. Catch the North Idaho College bus service heading towards Athol. Make sure to check the schedule for the next available bus. The bus will take you towards Athol and will drop you off at a stop near the intersection of ID-54 and N 3rd St, Athol, ID. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3 miles to reach the entrance of Farragut State Park. Follow ID-54 south; you'll see signs directing you to the park.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Sandpoint. Head south on N 1st Ave towards N 5th Ave and take a right onto N 5th Ave, which will lead you towards the bike paths. Continue onto the bike path that runs parallel to ID-95 S; follow the signs toward Athol. Once you reach Athol, navigate to ID-54 and head west for about 3 miles until you arrive at the entrance of Farragut State Park.

Walking
If you are up for a long trek, you can walk to Farragut State Park from Sandpoint. Start at the center of Sandpoint and head south on N 1st Ave. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the 2nd exit onto N 5th Ave, which becomes ID-95 S. Follow the road for about 6 miles until you reach the junction with ID-54. Turn left onto ID-54 and walk for another 3 miles to the park entrance at 13550 ID-54, Athol, ID 83801. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water!
