Start from downtown Sandpoint at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Cedar Street. Head north on Cedar Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 1st Avenue. Turn left onto 1st Avenue and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. You will reach the Sandpoint City Beach. From there, follow the path along Lake Pend Oreille towards the north until you reach the intersection with Schweitzer Mountain Road. Turn left onto Schweitzer Mountain Road and continue for about 3 miles. Mountain Horse Adventures will be on your left at 10000 Schweitzer Mountain Rd.

Begin your journey in downtown Sandpoint at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Cedar Street. Head north on Cedar Street for about 0.5 miles and turn left onto 1st Avenue. Continue straight for 0.3 miles until you reach Sandpoint City Beach. Follow the lakeside bike path heading north, which will eventually lead you to Schweitzer Mountain Road. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Schweitzer Mountain Road. Continue for approximately 3 miles, and you will find Mountain Horse Adventures on your left at 10000 Schweitzer Mountain Rd.
