From downtown Sandpoint, start at the intersection of 1st Ave and Main St. Head north on 1st Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach Boyer Ave. Continue on Boyer Ave for approximately 0.3 miles, then turn left onto Woodland Dr. Walk about 0.4 miles on Woodland Dr. The Mickinnick Trail Head 13 will be on your right, marked by a small parking area and a trailhead sign.

Begin your journey at the Sandpoint City Beach. Head north along the bike path that runs parallel to Lake Pend Oreille. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto Boyer Ave. Follow Boyer Ave for about 0.5 miles, then take a right onto Woodland Dr. Continue on Woodland Dr for about 0.3 miles, and you will find Mickinnick Trail Head 13 on your right.
