    From the center of Sandpoint, head north on N 1st Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with N 2nd Ave. Turn left onto N 2nd Ave and walk for about three blocks. The Sandpoint Historic District will be on your left, located between 300 and 398 N 2nd Ave. Look for the historic markers and buildings that showcase the rich history of the area.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the Sandpoint City Beach Park. Head east on the bike path along Lake Pend Oreille. Continue until you reach the intersection with N 1st Ave, then turn left.
