Getting There

• Walking

  Start from downtown Sandpoint at the intersection of Cedar St and 1st Ave. Head north on Cedar St for 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Ontario St. Turn right onto Ontario St and continue for another 0.2 miles. At the stop sign, turn left onto N 5th Ave. Keep walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Kootenai St. Turn right onto Kootenai St, and walk for approximately 0.4 miles until you arrive at the T-intersection with Syringa Heights Rd. Turn left onto Syringa Heights Rd and continue walking for about 0.6 miles. Talus Rock Retreat will be on your right at 291 Syringa Heights Rd.

• Bicycle

  Begin at the Sandpoint City Beach Park. Head north along the beach path until you reach the intersection with N 1st Ave. Turn left onto N 1st Ave and continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Cedar St. Turn right onto Cedar St and proceed for 0.5 miles before taking a left onto Ontario St. Continue on Ontario St for 0.2 miles. At the stop sign, take a left onto N 5th Ave. Ride for about 0.3 miles, then turn right onto Kootenai St. Follow Kootenai St for about 0.4 miles, then turn left onto Syringa Heights Rd. Talus Rock Retreat will be on your right after about 0.6 miles.

• Public Transit

  From downtown Sandpoint, head to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Cedar St and 1st Ave. Board the local Sandpoint bus that heads towards the north end of town. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and disembark at the stop nearest to Syringa Heights Rd. From there, walk south down Syringa Heights Rd for approximately 0.3 miles. Talus Rock Retreat will be on your left at 291 Syringa Heights Rd.
