If you are driving from Silver Valley, head east on I-90. Take exit 43 for ID-3 towards Plummer. Continue on ID-3 for about 14 miles until you reach the intersection with Chatcolet Lower Rd. Turn left onto Chatcolet Lower Rd and drive for approximately 2 miles. Heyburn State Park will be on your right at 57 Chatcolet Lower Rd, Plummer, ID 83851. Be aware that there may be a parking fee at the park entrance, so have some cash or a credit card ready.

For those using public transportation, check the local bus service for routes that connect to Plummer. You may need to take a bus from Silver Valley to the nearest town that services Plummer. Once in Plummer, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Heyburn State Park at 57 Chatcolet Lower Rd. Plan your trip ahead of time as bus schedules may vary, and be prepared for possible waiting times.

If you are up for an adventure and want to cycle, start from Silver Valley and follow ID-3. The ride is approximately 14 miles and can take about 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water. Once you reach the intersection with Chatcolet Lower Rd, turn left and continue for about 2 miles until you arrive at Heyburn State Park. Be aware of traffic, especially on ID-3.
