Continue walking for 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 2nd Ave N. Turn right on 2nd Ave N and walk for about 0.2 miles. You will see Rock Creek Park on your left at the intersection of 2nd Ave N and Rock Creek Parkway.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Start at 2015 Park Ave (the Visitor Center), and cycle west on Park Ave for 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Main Ave N and ride straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach 2nd Ave N. Take a right on 2nd Ave N and continue for 0.2 miles. Rock Creek Park will be on your left at the intersection with Rock Creek Parkway.
