Getting There

Car
From any location in Wood River Valley, head southeast on ID-75 S toward Ketchum. Continue on ID-75 S for about 20 miles until you reach the junction with US-20. Merge onto US-20 E and follow it for approximately 49 miles until you reach Nampa. Take exit 36A for I-84 E toward Boise. Merge onto I-84 E and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 38 for ID-55 N toward Caldwell. After approximately 4 miles on ID-55 N, turn left onto Upper Embankment Rd. The Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge will be on your left at 13751 Upper Embankment Rd, Nampa, ID 83686.

If you're using public transportation, start by taking the Wood River Valley Transit bus to the Ketchum bus station. From Ketchum, you will need to take a bus to Boise. Check the schedules for the next available trip. Upon arriving in Boise, transfer to a bus heading to Nampa. Once in Nampa, you can use a rideshare service or taxi to reach Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge at 13751 Upper Embankment Rd. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as connections may vary.
