If you're driving from the central area of Wood River Valley, head south on ID-75 S. Continue on ID-75 S for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with US-91 S. Take the exit toward US-91 S and merge onto US-91 S. After about 35 miles, take exit 1 toward Preston. After exiting, turn left onto ID-36 E. Continue on ID-36 E for about 5 miles until you reach Preston. In Preston, follow signs for the Bear River Massacre Site which is located just outside the city. The site is at approximately 42.140786, -111.911205.
