Public Transit - Train
From Arlington Heights, walk to the Arlington Heights Metra station located at 45 W Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at the Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago. From Ogilvie, follow the signs to the 'Ogilvie Center' exit and walk towards the nearby Riverwalk area. From there, head southeast on W Washington Blvd towards N Wells St, then turn left onto N Wells St. Continue until you reach the intersection with W Kinzie St. Turn right, and the Dearborn Street Bridge will be on your left after crossing the river.

Public Transit - Bus
Walk to the nearest bus stop for the Pace bus route 696 at the corner of S Arlington Heights Rd and E Golf Rd. Board the bus heading towards 'Schaumburg Town Square'. After about 30 minutes, transfer at the Woodfield Mall stop to the Pace route 600 towards 'Rosemont CTA Blue Line Station'. Get off at the 'Rosemont CTA Blue Line Station'. From there, take the train towards Chicago. Disembark at the Clark/Lake station. Exit the station and head southeast on W Lake St towards N Dearborn St. Turn right on N Dearborn St, then left on W Kinzie St, and the Dearborn Street Bridge will be on your left after crossing the river.

Walking from Downtown Arlington Heights
If you are starting from downtown Arlington Heights, head south on N Arlington Heights Rd towards E Campbell St. Continue straight to merge onto E Golf Rd and follow it until you reach the Arlington Heights Metra station. From the station, follow the previous instructions for either the train or bus routes. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, take a scenic route south towards the Des Plaines River Trail and follow it into the city, which will eventually lead you to the Dearborn Street Bridge.
