Train
From Palatine, head to the Palatine Metra Station located at 137 W Wood St. Take the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Once at Ogilvie, follow the signs to the exit and walk to the nearby bus terminal.
Bus
From Ogilvie Transportation Center, catch the #60 bus towards 'California & Chicago' or any bus going towards the Loop area. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at Wacker Dr & State St. From there, walk east on Wacker Drive for about 5 minutes until you reach the Chicago Riverwalk.
Walking
If you prefer walking from Ogilvie Transportation Center, exit the station and head southeast on W Adams St. Turn left onto N LaSalle St and continue until you reach Wacker Dr. Turn right on Wacker Dr and walk for about 10-15 minutes towards the river where you will find the Chicago Riverwalk at 36 Chicago Riverwalk.
