Public Transit - Train
If you are in Arlington Heights, head to the Arlington Heights Metra Station located at 45 W Northwest Highway. Take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. The ride to the next station, Chicago Union Station, takes about 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Union Station, transfer to the 'L' train. Take the Blue Line towards O'Hare and transfer at Washington/Wells to the Brown Line. Ride the Brown Line towards Kimball and get off at the 'Arlington' stop. From there, you can walk to Lincoln Park Zoo, which is about a 15-minute walk northeast.

From wherever you are in Arlington Heights, locate the nearest bus stop for the PACE bus service. Board the PACE Route 696 towards Northwest Transportation Center.
