Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From Arlington Heights, walk to the Arlington Heights Metra Station located at 45 W Northwest Highway. Take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago Union Station. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and walk to the 'Union Station' subway station which is connected. Take the 'Blue Line' towards O'Hare. Travel for 4 stops and get off at the 'Washington' station. From there, walk north on Washington Street until you reach W Merchandise Mart Plaza. The Merchandise Mart will be on your left.

  • Bus

    Start at the Arlington Heights Metra Station and take the PACE bus #696 heading towards the 'Schaumburg'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Woodfield Mall' stop. From there, transfer to the PACE bus #606 to 'Schaumburg & Golf'. Ride for 20 minutes until you reach 'Forest Park'. Walk to the 'Forest Park' subway station and take the 'Blue Line' towards O'Hare. Travel for 7 stops and get off at 'Washington' station. Walk north on Washington Street until you reach W Merchandise Mart Plaza. The Merchandise Mart will be on your left.

    If you are already in downtown Arlington Heights, you can walk to the Arlington Heights Metra Station (45 W Northwest Highway). From there, take the Metra train as mentioned above. Alternatively, if you are near the Arlington Heights Park District, you can enjoy a leisurely walk towards the Metra Station first, which is about a 15-minute walk.
