Public Transportation
From the Arlington Heights Metra station, board a train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line heading towards Chicago. Ensure you take a train that stops at the 'Chicago O'Hare' station. The journey should take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Chicago O'Hare', exit the train and take the Blue Line towards 'Forest Park'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Clark/Lake'. From here, transfer to the Red Line heading towards '95th/Dan Ryan' and get off at 'State/Lake' station. After exiting the station, walk east along Lake Street for about 3 blocks until you reach E Erie St. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your right at 50 E Erie St.

From the Arlington Heights Metra station, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Northwest Highway and Arlington Heights Rd. Board the Pace Bus Route 696 heading towards the 'Schaumburg' area. After about 30 minutes, transfer at the stop on 'Dempster St & N. Elmhurst Rd' to the Pace Bus Route 606 towards 'Harwood Heights'. Ride for approximately 45 minutes and get off at 'State St & W. Erie St'. Walk east on Erie St for a couple of minutes, and the Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your right at 50 E Erie St.
