From there, walk northeast on State Street until you reach North Michigan Avenue. The American Writers Museum is located at 180 North Michigan Ave, just a short walk from the bus stop.

From Berwyn, head to the Berwyn Metra station. Take the Metra train on the BNSF Line towards Chicago Union Station. Disembark at the Union Station stop. From Union Station, walk east on Adams Street to reach State Street, then head north until you reach North Michigan Avenue. The American Writers Museum will be on your left at 180 North Michigan Ave.

If you are near the Berwyn Metra station and prefer walking, you can walk to the station and take the train as described above. Alternatively, if you're near a bus stop, you can take the bus to the Chicago Loop and then walk to North Michigan Avenue. It is approximately a 30-minute walk from central Berwyn to the museum if you take Ogden Avenue towards the east.
