Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the station and head to the State Street exit. Walk towards State Street and catch the #60 bus towards the Museum Campus. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the Navy Pier stop. Walk straight towards the pier; the Centennial Wheel will be visible as you approach.

Rent a bicycle from one of the bike-sharing stations in Berwyn. Head towards the Salt Creek Trail and follow it north until you reach the Chicago River.
