From Berwyn, walk to the Berwyn Metra Station located at 6820 Windsor Ave. Board the BNSF Railway Line train heading towards Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station, transfer to the 'L' train. Take the Blue Line train towards O'Hare and get off at the Washington/Wells station. From there, transfer to the Brown Line or Purple Line, and take it to the State/Lake station. Exit the station and walk north on State Street for about 0.4 miles until you reach Holy Name Cathedral at 735 N State St.

From Berwyn, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus Route 302 at 16th St & Ridgeland Ave. Take the bus heading north towards the Oak Park station. Get off at the Oak Park Station and transfer to the Green Line train towards Ashland. Ride until you reach the Clark/Lake station and then transfer to the Brown Line or Purple Line. Get off at State/Lake station. Walk north on State Street for about 0.4 miles to arrive at Holy Name Cathedral, located at 735 N State St.

Once you reach the city, navigate to State Street and continue north for approximately 0.4 miles to reach Holy Name Cathedral at 735 N State St.

Walk east on 16th St until you reach Cermak Rd, where you will turn right. Follow Cermak Rd until you reach the intersection with Harlem Ave. Cross over to the other side of Harlem Ave and continue walking north. Once you reach the main thoroughfare, follow it straight into Chicago and after about 4 miles, you will arrive at State Street.
