Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Bolingbrook, head to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Route 834 bus. Board the bus heading towards the 'Metra - Route 59' station. Once you reach the Route 59 station, transfer to the Metra BNSF Railway Line towards Chicago Union Station. After arriving at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and walk towards the 'State Street' exit. From State Street, walk east on Adams Street until you reach Wacker Drive, then turn right (south) and walk for about 5 minutes. The Chicago Architecture Center will be on your left at 111 E Wacker Dr.

• Train

  Start by making your way to the nearest Metra station in Bolingbrook, which is the 'Route 59' station. Board the Metra BNSF Railway Line train heading towards Chicago Union Station. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the 'State Street' exit. Walk east on Adams Street until you reach Wacker Drive, turn right (south), and walk about 5 minutes to reach the Chicago Architecture Center located at 111 E Wacker Dr.

  If you prefer a rideshare option like Uber or Lyft, open the app and set your pickup location in Bolingbrook. Enter '111 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the Chicago Architecture Center. Depending on traffic, the ride may take approximately 30-45 minutes.

  If you're feeling adventurous and wish to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Bolingbrook. Start by heading northeast on the local bike paths towards the 'DuPage River Trail' which connects to the 'Illinois Prairie Path'. Follow the path towards the west until you reach the 'BNSF Railway Trail'. Continue to bike towards Chicago, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in downtown Chicago, navigate towards Wacker Drive where the Chicago Architecture Center is located at 111 E Wacker Dr.
