    Public Transit

    From Bolingbrook, head to the nearest Pace Bus stop. You can take the Pace Route 834 towards the Romeoville Transit Center. Once you arrive at the Romeoville Transit Center, transfer to the Metra Heritage Corridor train towards Union Station. Get off at the Union Station stop in Chicago. From Union Station, walk to the nearby 'Washington/Wells' CTA station and take the Brown Line towards Kimball. Transfer at 'Harold Washington Library' to the Red Line towards 95th/Dan Ryan. Get off at 'Cermak-Chinatown' station. Exit the station and walk east on 22nd Street, then turn left onto S Indiana Ave. The Clarke-Ford House will be on your left.

    Walking

    If you're already in Bolingbrook and prefer walking, consider starting your journey at the Bolingbrook Village Hall. Walk north to the intersection of E Boughton Rd and S Schmidt Rd. From there, catch a Pace Bus at the nearest stop on Boughton Rd heading towards Chicago. Follow the instructions for Public Transit once you reach Romeoville Transit Center.

    Biking

    If you have a bike, start at the Bolingbrook Park District. Head east towards the DuPage River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach the intersection of 75th Street and 135th Street. From there, connect to the local bike lanes heading towards the train stations. You can bike to the Romeoville Metra station, then continue with the Metra train to Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station, follow the walking directions to reach the Clarke-Ford House as described above.
