To reach Cloud Gate at 201 E Randolph St, Chicago from Bolingbrook, start by taking the Pace Bus Route 755 from the Bolingbrook Promenade. Get off at the 'Plainfield & Weber' stop, then transfer to the Metra Heritage Corridor Line at the 'Willow Springs' station. Board the train heading to Union Station in Chicago. Upon arrival at Union Station, exit the train, and walk to the 'State/Lake' subway station. Take the 'Brown Line' or 'Pink Line' train towards 'Kimball' or '18th' respectively and transfer at 'Washington/Wells' to the 'Blue Line' towards 'O'Hare'. Get off at the 'Washington' station. Finally, walk east on Washington St, then north on State St, and follow the signs to Millennium Park where Cloud Gate is located.

Alternatively, you can take the Pace Bus Route 834 from Bolingbrook to the 'Romeoville Metra Station'. From there, catch the Metra Rock Island Line towards Chicago and disembark at the 'LaSalle Street Station'. Exit the station and walk to the nearby 'State/Lake' subway station. Take the 'Red Line' train towards 'Howard' and get off at 'Clark/Division'. From there, walk south towards Millennium Park where Cloud Gate is situated.

If you prefer to walk from the Bolingbrook area, you can start your journey at the Bolingbrook Town Center. Head east on Boughton Rd until you reach the intersection with Lily Cache Ln. Continue walking until you reach the 'Bolingbrook Metra Station'. From there, follow the above public transit options to reach Cloud Gate. Note that this would be a very long walk, so public transit is highly recommended.
