Getting There

• Public Bus

  From anywhere in Bolingbrook, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus Route 755. Board the bus heading towards the 'Downers Grove Metra' station. Ride until you reach the 'Downers Grove Metra' station. Transfer to the Metra train on the BNSF Railway line heading towards Chicago Union Station. Get off at the 'Union Station' stop. Once you exit the station, walk to the 'State St & Adams St' bus stop and take the CTA #29 bus towards 'Washington & State'. Get off at the 'State & Huron' stop. Walk north on State Street for about 2 blocks until you reach Holy Name Cathedral at 735 N State St.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start by heading to the 'Bolingbrook Park District' bike path and follow the path northwest. Continue along the path until you reach the DuPage River Trail. Follow the trail to the north until you reach the junction with the 'I-355 North' bike path. Merge onto the bike path and head towards Chicago. When you reach the city limits, follow signs for 'State St'. Upon entering Chicago, continue on State Street until you reach Holy Name Cathedral located at 735 N State St.

  If you are staying at a local hotel in Bolingbrook, ask for directions to the nearest Pace Bus stop for Route 755. Take the bus to the 'Downers Grove Metra' station and board the BNSF Railway train towards Chicago. Disembark at 'Union Station' and exit the station. From there, head to the 'State St & Adams St' bus stop and board the CTA #29 bus towards 'Washington & State'. Get off at 'State & Huron', then walk 2 blocks north on State Street to reach Holy Name Cathedral at 735 N State St.
