    From Bolingbrook, walk to the nearest bus stop on IL-53 (S. Bolingbrook Dr). Take the Pace Bus Route 834 towards the Romeoville Metra Station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop for the 'Romeoville Metra Station'. From there, catch the Metra Rock Island Line train towards Chicago. The train ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Chicago LaSalle St' station, exit and walk east on W Van Buren St towards S Michigan Ave. Turn right on S Michigan Ave, and after a 10-minute walk, you will reach the Carbide & Carbon Building at 230 Michigan Ave.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental service in Bolingbrook. Start by heading toward the Illinois & Michigan Canal Trail. Follow the trail north towards Chicago, which will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
