Public Transit - Bus
If you're starting from downtown Chicago, walk to the nearest bus stop on State St. and take the #146 bus towards 'Museum Campus'. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Adler Planetarium'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the lake, and you will see the Adler Planetarium ahead.

From the 'Jackson' station on the Blue Line, transfer to the Red Line at 'State/Lake' station. Take the Red Line south towards '95th/Dan Ryan'. Get off at the 'Cermak-Chinatown' station and transfer to the #21 bus. Take the #21 bus towards 'Museum Campus' and get off at the 'Adler Planetarium' stop. Walk towards the lake to reach the entrance.
