Board the bus at Michigan Ave & Washington St or any nearby stop along Michigan Ave. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at 18th St & DuSable Lake Shore Dr. From there, walk south along DuSable Lake Shore Dr for about 10 minutes until you reach Adler Planetarium, located at 1300 S DuSable Lake Shore Dr.

If you are near the Red Line train, board the train at any downtown station heading south towards 95th/Dan Ryan. Get off at the State/Lake station and transfer to the Orange Line towards Midway. Get off at the Adams/Wells station and walk to the #146 bus stop at Dearborn St & Adams St. Take the #146 bus towards Museum Campus and get off at 18th St & DuSable Lake Shore Dr. Walk south for about 10 minutes to reach Adler Planetarium at 1300 S DuSable Lake Shore Dr.

If you are already in the South Loop area, you can simply walk to Adler Planetarium. Start from Grant Park and head south on Columbus Dr. Continue onto Lake Shore Dr and then take a left onto 18th St. Follow 18th St until you reach DuSable Lake Shore Dr. Turn right and walk south for about 10 minutes to reach Adler Planetarium.
