Public Transit (Train)
If you are starting from downtown Chicago, head to the nearest 'Red Line' train station. Board the train heading south towards 95th/Dan Ryan. Stay on the train for about 10 stops until you reach the '47th' station. Once you arrive at '47th', exit the train and head east to Michigan Avenue. Walk south on Michigan Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach 4801 S Michigan Ave. The Hall Branch of the Chicago Public Library will be on your right.

Starting from the Loop, locate the nearest bus stop for the #3 King Drive bus. Board the bus heading south. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the stop at 47th St & Michigan Ave. From there, walk east on 47th St for one block, then turn right on Michigan Ave and walk south for about 0.3 miles to reach 4801 S Michigan Ave, where the Hall Branch of the Chicago Public Library is located.
Walking
If you are already in the Bronzeville area, walk to the intersection of 47th St and Michigan Ave. From there, head south on Michigan Ave for about 0.5 miles. The Hall Branch of the Chicago Public Library will be on your left at 4801 S Michigan Ave. This is a pleasant walk through a historic neighborhood, so enjoy the sights along the way.
